As important as finding ‘the’ dress is choosing the right photographer, to capture the magic, the little details and unscripted moments that tell the story of your wedding. After all, when the last champagne cork has been popped and the honeymoon is sadly over, viewing your wedding photographs will bring back the joy and emotion of your special day.

How we do it...our style
Yes, we have a strong style, developed from many years experience of photographing people professionally. It is influenced by our life experiences too, from our interests in everything from music, travel, the arts and nature. You should find an affinity for our style of photography, connect with what you see, we are not copycat photographers. We strive to produce something valuable, creative and unique for every client. If you appreciate great imagery then be prepared and excited to be part of that process.
Let’s Work Together
Your wedding is important. To you, to ourselves, to your family and friends. Julie and I shoot every wedding together, we blend in – often mistaken for just another family member or guest. We want to create a set of beautiful photos that tell the story of your wedding day. We have a distinct style that combines artistic portraiture with documentary style shooting that will capture intimate moments and tiny details. We would love to meet you, chat about your wedding day plans and get to know each other a little better. Start with sending a request on our contact form at the bottom of the page.
Don’t Get Caught Up In The Jargon
When you begin searching for the person you will trust to capture the memories of your your wedding day, you will see labels such as; vintage, photojournalist, documentary and fine art to describe various styles of photography. In our experience, a good professional wedding photographer will adapt a variety of these styles. Your wedding day will be a wonderful journey through a range of emotions, events and settings and we will be there to capture gorgeous images throughout; adapting to the theme, colour palette and moods of your wedding day. Just as every wedding is different, every couple is different too, we aim to reflect your personalities in our coverage of your day. Choose a wedding photographer you connect with and trust them to allow you to enjoy your wedding day – no labels or jargon required.
Be prepared…getting to know you
An unusual, yet essential part of all our wedding packages is the complimentary pre wedding photoshoot experience. This is FUN! Trust me. We usually meet at an outdoor location, a beach, an urban setting, a park, on a mountain, etc. We take some time getting to know one another whilst taking some relaxed, informal photos. This usually happens about a month before your wedding day and is an ideal time to chat about your final plans. It also puts everyone more at ease with the idea of being photographed – so the wedding day experience can be more enjoyable. Everyone loves their pre wedding shoot and the photographs too! You will get the opportunity to choose your favourite image for us to print and mount, we then bring it along to your venue where you can ask your guests to sign it as a memento. Your 10 favourites are included with your album package, but for those of you on a digital package you will have the opportunity to buy the collection on a USB flash drive.
How much?...your investment
What will it cost you for this level of gorgeousness?

Wedding venues...our favourites!
South Wales Wedding Venue Guide
A Wedding Venue Guide to South Wales
Everyone has their idea of their favourite wedding venue, our daughter got married by the lakeside at a festival! You might like to ask us about some of the many dozens of venues that we have personal experience of. If you are still searching for your ideal venue, then call us to get the lowdown on which are our favourites and why! We have photographed at everything from a farm to a castle, from a stately home to a country house hotel, from a youth hostel to a cricket club! All have their good points and some aspects that need careful consideration before you book. We are often asked at wedding fayres about our opinions on potential wedding venues and can offer independent advice on what might be best for your big day. This is not a definite list, we will add more as we find the time, which is another good reason to give us a call! Our South Wales Wedding Venue Guide…coming soon!
repeating the process at different times to get the best light.
So when it came to the day itself he knew exactly where to go and when to get the perfect photo, which was amazing – although it did make the final process of choosing the album shots impossible!
I think what I am trying to say is that if you are looking for a good, run of the mill photographer, then there are hundreds to choose from, but if you want photos that will be as special as your day, artistic, classic and matched to your personality, a team who go above and beyond to make sure you feel as comfortable, relaxed and as special as you deserve on your big day – then look no further than Martin and Julie. Thank you both for everything! Emily and Chris Seage Destination Wedding in Spain
At the end of the night we felt like we were saying goodbye to lovely friends and everyone commented on how fantastic you were.
Thank you once again for your amazing service.
We will never forget how hard you worked on the 6th April.
Lots of love from Clare and Ant xxx
Wedding at Oldwalls, Gower
I’m really pleased with the way you captured so many really lovely natural pictures of us and our guests. The ones by the gates are lovely, the pair of us with my nephews, us in front of the black doors, in the flower meadow … well, there are so many lovely pictures . And I’m very glad to have a lovely vivid reminder of my beautiful flowers and my dress blowing in the breeze.
Everyone I’ve shown has been really impressed, we really lucked out with finding you both. Fabulous wedding pictures and none of the really unimaginative clichéd stuff we really didn’t want. So thank you very much once again!
With best wishes, Philippa and Colin
